Job Description:
North Point is a simple, strategic, results oriented church focused on reaching people over keeping people. The Family Life Support Staff is all about co-leading the charge to effectively impact families in intentional ways through our ministry systems. This person will help create a unique environment where kids can feel safe, have fun, find friends, and feel Jesus.

* membership at North Point Church or at your local church

* currently serving on a volunteer team at North Point or at your local church

* faithful history of tithing at North Point or your local church

Manage scheduling and volunteer assimilation

* Track and record weekend ratios

* Organize and maintain the weekly schedule for volunteer leaders to serve

* Mobilize potential volunteers into significant places of ministry

Prepare Kid’s Areas for Weekend Services

* Creatively design environments that are conducive for each stage of learning for each curriculum series

* Distribute appropriate curriculum and supplies for volunteers to facilitate during the service.

Facilitate Assistance during Weekend Services

* Provide leadership oversight to nursery, preschool, and elementary areas.

* Provide assistance in check-in/out in all areas

* Work with service captains to create the best possible experience each service for the whole family.

* Clearly communicate to volunteers during pre-service huddles and during service times.

Event Administration

* Facilitate preparation for various outreaches and events

* Provide on-site leadership at multiple events.

* Create follow up communication after events with participants.

* We expect you to work 7-8 hours on the weekend between Saturday and Sunday services and 3-6 hours during the week depending on upcoming events. The hours will range between 10-15 hours a week

* Staff members are expected to attend one service a weekend in order to stay fed, engaged, and excited.

* Monday Staff Meetings happen twice a month and are voluntary for this part-time position thus unpaid but are recommended to grow from leadership insight, stay connected to top leadership vision, and to keep reminded of why we work here.

* The pay will be $10 per hour.
